Mentor coaching and coaching supervision
You are the tool. Your professional persona matters.
Mentorcoaching
You’ve completed a training program. There you are, a brand-new coach, wondering, “What do I do now? How am I going to get clients?” But somehow, little by little, people just start coming to you. First on a pro bono basis, then for a fee. But you’re still not quite confident in yourself—do you really know enough? Are you really good enough to support people? What a huge responsibility this is…
You complete a second training program. Then a third.
But that little voice is still nagging at you, wondering if you’re doing things right. Are you really taking on the clients for whom you’re the best choice? Or just anyone, since you want to rack up the hours and gain experience—and, of course, you have to make a living somehow.
I’ll be honest with you: I, too, have taken on clients who weren’t committed or weren’t ready for change. I don’t think there’s a coach out there who hasn’t gone through this.
I hold the ICF ACC and PCC Mentoring Specialisation, I support you with confidence to hone your competencies.
Come to me for mentoring if:
you’re preparing for ACC or PCC certification
you’d like to develop your skills
you want to explore how to lead your sessions more effectively
you’d like to use your toolkit more consciously
you’d like to review something you learned during training
you want to analyse one (or more) of your coaching sessions
Coaching supervision
Supervision is like a quiet harbor. You can relax, get your thoughts in order, assess where you are right now, the path you’ve taken so far, and what you need.
It’s a collaborative form of personal development that helps you better understand how you function. You reflect on yourself, your behavior, your beliefs, your feelings, and your thoughts; you take care of yourself and prevent burnout. You develop your identity as a coach and your coaching persona.
Come to me for supervision if:
one of your clients has pushed one of your buttons
You feel like you’re starting to get caught up in some kind of power play
Your client starts missing sessions, cancels appointments, and you don’t understand why, since you thought you were making good progress
During a coaching session, you experienced feelings that are uncomfortable for you or that you’re ashamed of—for example, you’re bored or you feel the need to please your client
Reach out to me if you’d like to coach at a higher level or better understand how you function as a coach. Or both.
